Single blade dampers

• Typically butterfly dampers, several options as described above.

Double blade dampers

• Double blade butterfly dampers,
• Transmission of torque to the non direct driven shaft by heavy duty geared wheels,
• Non return dampers
• No actuator necessary as the damper opens due to fan flow/ pressure and closes due to gravitational force,
• Opening and closing of blades aided by external adjustable levers and balancing weights,
• Also called pressure relief or back draught dampers.

Multi blade dampers

• Modular design for larger dampers
• Parallel and opposed linkage for on/off and modulating duty,
• Also available in circular design with parallel blades.

Inlet vane dampers

• Typically used for inlet flow control on centrifugal fans.
